Shader packs not detecting
I have installed both sodium and lithium with the game working fine (1.21 Java Mac). I then installed the iris version which comes with sodium. But when I load into the game there is no where for me to view or even download shader packs.
I have attached a view of my mods folder within minecraft, and also tried moving the "shaderpacks folder" in the regular minecraft folder, the mods folder, and the resource pack folder but nothing has worked.
I have also attached a view of my game to show the problem in game.
Any help is appreciated 🙂

What is that file manager?
Is that the insides of your mods folder? Is that two panels showing the contents of your Minecraft folder?
mac os
the files on the left are inside the minecraft folder, and the files on the right are inside the "mods" folder.
Now that I know how your folder is structured, what profile you choose to launch Minecraft? The profile is the game version with an icon next to the play button in the launcher.
sorry im new to modding and using minecraft on a mac
i got fabric and stuff as well to load the mods i think
That is an interesting looking launcher.
I'm not familiar with MacOS so, maybe IMS can help. He daily drive an M1 Mac. He can check on you once he's online.
ok thankyou for your help
you are launching the game with the sodium and iris profile, which is normally fine, but I suspect that you took the iris mod out of iris-reserved
if you have sodium and iris in your mods folder you need to launch fabric
not iris-fabric-loader
you also have a LOT of non-mod files and folders in your mods folder that shouldn't be there, as if you tried dragging your entire .minecraft folder into the mods folder
i think the game mightve just started loading in the mods folder but idk how
