Looks like a lot of incompatibilities
What's the mod list?
And send logs please
/logsstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.gothca
(you don't have to send a mod list if your logs include one)
@Puhpine (GMT +1)
Hhmm no weird world gen mods
Just Terralith and tectonic
C2me probably doesn't help though
ok
You can try without it, see if any new pillars appear. For the pillars you have now to disappear you'll need to force update the chunks there somehow. They probably won't go away on their own
so get rid of C2me>
Yes, start with that

For the LODs not loading, you likely just need to wait longer (and turn up cpu load if you haven't already)
This might be useful to you:
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)how long do i need to wait 5 mins or like 5 hours?
You can speed up LOD generation by installing mods like noisium and turning down vanilla video settings
For how many chunks?
128
What cpu?
not sure
i have a gaming laptop
Task manager will tell you
k
intel core i7
2.60GHz
That doesn't mean anything
Model name pleaee
Something like 10700hs for example
10750H
Alright
Long
A lot closer to 5 hours than 5 minutes
I'd expect maybe like 2 or something
Hard to predict
But yeah, definitely not 5 min
