cpu usage over 50% when valo is running not in game.
as the title says my cpu usage % is like 50% idle on menu and in game goes 100%
idle just on windows for my pc is like 5-10% rn when i have yt running amv in background while using like spotify/discord nzxt cam and steel series gg software etc so alot of stuff and still 15% max usage when i open new tabs etc from what i can see.
also idk if this makes sense but multi thread rendering isnt changing my fps at all. they stay around 220 avg which is bad cuz online it says my cpu should get way more

Excessive CPU usage in VALORANT's menus and maxing out during gameplay can be frustrating. Here are a few steps to potentially resolve your issue:
1. Update Drivers: Ensure your GPU, CPU, and chipset drivers are up to date. 2. Close Background Apps: Additional programs running can significantly increase CPU usage. Close unnecessary applications, especially high-demand ones like NZXT Cam and SteelSeries GG. 3. Optimize In-Game Settings: Lower your in-game graphics settings, especially for texture quality, shadows, and VFX. 4. Check CPU Throttling: Ensure your PC isn’t thermal throttling by checking temperatures. Clean out dust and verify sufficient cooling. 5. Multi-thread Rendering: If Multithreaded Rendering isn’t making a difference, consider disabling it for a comparison. 6. Power Options: Set your Windows Power Plan to High Performance. 7. Reinstall VALORANT and Vanguard: Corrupted files could be causing issues. If the CPU issue persists, it might be a game optimization problem. Keep an eye on future updates from Riot. For your FPS issue, ensure VSync and any frame caps are disabled.

. Thank you!
multi thread isnt making a difference yes rest updated drivers. idk chipset one but bios etc are up to date. in game settings wont change anything at all i am on 3060 ti its barely seeing use in game. cpu isnt over heating max i see is 74-76c power options are high performance idk about reinstalling the game ig i might try that
i mean, val does rely more on cpu rendering than gpu, so i don't think there's much wrong... it is always over 100% for me(turbo), but i am using a 3rd gen i7 chip so can't tell
i am on like i5 12400F even if it uses 100% it should still provide more fps plus it dips to often rn idk if its to do with me changing processor but not windows or something
swapped from i3 12100f to i5 12400f and there isnt any difference at all
just in game* in other games etc there are differences
hmmm...🤔
are you using an ssd?
