contabo and railway domain
Will i be able to add a root domain: CNAME @ .... using contabo dns zone?

If you can't add one and you have a domain on contabo then you can use cloudflare nameservers instead, they support root level CNAMEs

I couldn't find anything in their docs about support for root level CNAMEs, why not try adding a root level CNAME and seeing if it works? Otherwise you could also ask their support

It works now it just took some time 😂
if you aren't using a CNAME at the root it will break, it will just take some time before it breaks
