Help my dress pants are too short
Ok so I recently bought a suit from suitsupply used off of grailed, but the pants have been cut to a 74cm inseam whlist I need something closer to 95cm-90cm. Big mistake on my part, should've saw that coming. The color specifically is navy pin.
I'm not sure if suitsupply still sells this exact color/pattern. I have my formal event in 3 weeks, and need something that fits by then. So questions:
- I'm assuming it's not possible but is there any way to make a pant longer?
- Does the suit pant have to match 100%, or can it be regular navy (without the verticle white stripes) and still look good?
- If I get a new pair of trousers, do they also need to be suitsupply? Anything I need to keep in mind otherwise?

If there's seam allowance on the inside of the bottom hem that can be used to lengthen the leg a bit.
Pants do traditionally need to match the suit jacket. That's the literal defintion of a suit
I would recommend asking Suit Supply / browsing their website.
If I recall correctly there will be some ID numbers on an inside label somewhere which mentions the cloth origins and maybe batch number
I'm assuming I can't do much?
Also to be sure these are too short right?
Could probably get around 1" in length I guess
You're not wearing the shoes you'd normally wear with a suit. So I have no idea. Just wearing socks and pants isn't a good way of evaluating.
Does this help?
.
Yeah too short for a classic half break.
Could maybe look ok with a crop with derbies or oxfords for a fashion forward look
IMO with boots and suits you often need a much slimmer shaft or need a wider leg
If not the boot & pants often get caught on each other
do you think I could wear these pants with oxfords?
or is it too far in the realm of too short?
I'm guessing it's probably too short. But a picture always helps.
hmm well that sucks
I checked on suitsupply but they don't seem to have this exact pattern
