DH + Bliss Shaders Frequent Crashing in Modpack
I keep getting crashes fairly often while trying to play with DH and Bliss shaders in my modpack. The modpack is 1.20.1 running on Forge. Everything is working almost perfectly besides the game crashing.
This seems to be the error:
EXCEPTION ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x00007ffee7376844, pid=30976, tid=2436
(I've attached the full logs in the image just in case)
I don't know if this could be conflicting with another mod, so I've also attached a list of all the mods in the pack.
If anyone understands what that means, and what the problem could be, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs

Like what did you do that might've triggered it
nothing really just flying with elytra in already loaded chunks. itll also happen when using a waystone sometimes.

This happened to me consistently, with or without shaders, on any CPU preset, with any amount of memory, eventually.
My solution was to disable XMP in my BIOS. The XMP profile had my memory frequency at 6400, without it my memory frequency dropped to 4800. I didn't notice a decrease in performance, but the crashes completely stopped.

can you make a new instance and copy DH, embeddium, oculus and bliss there to test if that works?

Anyways, "EXCEPTION ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005)" isn't a DH specific error. You can find solutions online.

if you indeed experience no issues, it could be a mod incompatability
well it seems like that error message is a problem with memory after quick google search
changing my xmp profile fixed it temporarily but im back to crashing
Yeah, allocating too much RAM can mess up the GC and cause crashes/instability

Issues only really occur if you use more than 18-20gb
the new instance i made just crashed and it was set to the default 4gb
no crashes, just GC spikes
it can cause crashes with super high amounts
my gpu was going to 100% i noticed
never heard of that happening

gonna try running the pack on 12gb n just see what happens

should i remove the worldmap and minimap too (im assuming they go hand in hand)

idk if theres anything in the it seems to just stop after i set the time to 0 at the end lol

yeah had issues with other games crashing abt a month ago but i reseated my ram and it fixed everything
you could try disabling xmp/expo
cuz i just ordered a prebuilt in march so the pc is pretty new

theres alot of stuff it can be now
its more likely an issue of too fast ram than it is of too slow
ive only figured out how to switch the profile but idrk how to disable it completely
if the build has a 14900k is could also be an issue of the 14900k instability issues

the easiest solution is to update the bios and then apply the fix intel gave so the cpu's dont crash anymore
the better solution, but more work, is to refund the pc and get one with a 7800x3d (if this is a gaming pc)
the best solution is to build one yourself (its not hard if you follow a tutorial)

i did have issues with other games tho like fn and the finals were crashing and nzxt support told me to reseat my ram

the modpack wasnt crashing like that before i updated dh and added the shaders

nah i actually noticed i had a java update and installed that. was then able to play for a solid 4 hours without a crash
