Wedding Ring

Obviously there's way more to consider than just style here, but maybe y'all have some advice? Curious about comfort, daily wear quality, being too plain or too showy, etc. Here's a few fiancee and I like so far:

(not necessarily planning to match but we do hope for some clear connection between them) I'm not a ring wearer typically. I have a signet ring I wear sometimes, and I don't love how it feels

i defaulted to mr zeo but we got plain silver titanium rings; after a couple days i got used to it and two years in it looks basically the same as when we got them originally i like all four of those tbh (particularly 1 and 3) and from a distance i wager none would be that showy. its worth getting sized properly so you aren't risking it sliding off in your day to day

Ty Zeo!
Please Go Away
Consider the material--Gold is traditional in part because it doesn't tarnish. Titanium should also be good if it's not plated. I would avoid brass/bronze, silver, or anything plated since you'll have to take them off any time you expose them to water. Anything with a plating is also inherently not bifl since the plating will chip off over time (not sure how big of a deal it would be to replace the ring after some time, but some people put a lot of stock in the symbolism of having one ring to rule them all last for the rest of your life together).

I have an incredibly plain ring but it means the world as my wife bought it for me when she proposed, so it means the world. Actual advice, if you've not worn rings before its going to feel super weird regardless for at least a few months!
Wonkymythology
I recently got married and my wife and I got rings kinda similar to no 3 - we wanted something that looked a little bit organic and handmade. We decided on 14k gold bc gold looks like a wedding ring to us and it's not super soft or as showy as higher k gold - even 18k looked really yellow to us! I also have never worn a ring before and I'd definitely recommend something relatively thin and smooth if you're concerned about sensory stuff. Even a fraction of a millimeter/ rounded edges vs square edges etc make a difference. We got ours from a local jeweler who offered free resizing etc for life which was useful for me as the ring was initially a little too large. We got our rings ready a couple of months before the wedding so we had time to try them on for a day and night to check the size and get them resized well before we needed them. Personally I'm really happy with my ring. It's interesting enough to me while still being subtle enough that it doesn't clash or stand out particularly with anything I wear. If you have a really consistent unusual style then having an unusual ring that fits that style could be cool. We also got ours engraved with each other's handwriting (you can see a little bit of it in the first photo) which makes them feel really special to us too. Congratulations on your impending nuptials ✨✨✨
