DH 2.1 crashes on launch (1.20.1)
I've got:
DH 2.1.0a
Indium 1.0.30
Iris 1.7.0
Sodium 0.5.8
No idea what's causing the crash? Everywhere I've seen on this forum tells me it should work?

Try redownloading Iris 1.7.0 from https://modrinth.com/mod/iris/version/1.7.0+1.20.1

Ok so that's worked, but now it doesn't let me use other shaders, only Bliss. I want to use Complimentary Unbound but when I move it just unloads chunks.
I'm playing on a server. It's worked before. I just explored a heap, but it's unloaded all the LODs now.
Scratch that - has to be Complimentary Unbound 5.2.
My previous LODs are still gone though. Why aren't they appearing?
@Johnsan what game version are you using? I haven't even been able to get the game to open with DH 2.1
1.20.1
Open a new post and send logs
/logstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
've fixed it
From when were these previous LODs? From a previous DH version?
Yeah 2.0.2
I thought they didn't get wiped?
I did increase the detail settings, but that shouldn't wipe it either should it? Either way it wiped it before I changed that setting, and even wiped it for Bliss, which I'm back at using. Didn't bother with Complimentary after all haha
I should say I don't use it for SSP, only servers. Each time I log in I get the migration message, then it says stopped and nothing happens? It pops up with it every time I log in.
For my multi world server it's a nightmare. Just throws the same message over and over again.
If your LODs are from before the big data source rewrite (which I think happened after 2.0.2), you'll need to wait for DH to migrate them to the new format, which may take a while.
You should be able to see the progress in the F3 menu.
I've looked - where exactly? It doesnt say migrated or deleted anywhere.
I've got this?
THis is a tiny world I'm playing with my kids - barely got started, but there's a bit of DH data there.
The other one is another story. Lots of worlds with lots of data.
Yup, it looks like everything has been migrated.
Do you have multiverse support enabled?
Yeah I do. Every time I log in and out it gives me the same message though.
Can you send your logs?

Sure. Gimme a sec.
Hmmm... It's claiming the database was closed.
Unfortunately I don't have a solution to that.
If you don't have a lot of LODs generated, I'd recommend just clearing out the old ones and generating new ones.
Oof. That's doable for this world but for my main server that's gonna hurt. (I'm the owner).
Mind you, I think I've lost it all again anyway, so might be ok haha
So just the Distant_Horizons_server_data folder? Just delete the whole thing?
Yup
