sleek Oxfords for high instep
As the title says, anyone got recommendations for some nice Oxfords that will accommodate a high-ish instep? Preferably wholecut or plain toe, Goodyear welted

It’s tricky, but I’ve had good experiences getting second hand Loake a half size up.
Yeah, loake are definitely an option I know will work, was just hoping for something a bit sleeker
Sleeker than Loake? Okay, well Cheaney have a rather high instep, but honestly as the dear of an archfoot myself, go Loake. There's some great models in the 1880 range for example.
Crockett and Jones have two lasts which are pretty good for high instep, 325 and 341. And I'm a Brit but I hear Allen and Edmonds have a whole line for this- but the name escapes me right now.

I can't speak to the quality of the product, but they have a pretty good name it seems. Spanish company 🇪🇸
And very reasonable price.
In the process pf returning Meermin hand welted pair. Lovely shoes, but too narrow and low in my size, sizing up might work but probably just be too long.
Cheaney I was able to try the Lime model here in Dublin, honestly wasn’t impressed, felt cheap. Loake Aldwych fit well enough, just look a bit clunky with a larger sole etc.
thanks for the suggestions, really appreciate it.
I’m probably putting more thought into it all than warranted, as I’ll be married in them
