I am having issue pointing my domain name to railway.
the cname provided by railway cicuvwlz.up.railway.app for datacoupon.ng when added to https://smartweb.com.ng/ where the domain is purchased does not seem to be detected on railway even when it is added on the smartweb

but the real issue is that your dns provider does not support root level cnames, you will need to use cloudflare's nameservers

Is this what you are asking for ?

so thats the non www domain, but you only have the www domain in your dns settings.

So i have to update the dns setting to the non www domain and it should work ?

Is there another way to point the domain name to railway
nope, you would need to use nameservers that support root level cnames, please note that this does not have anything to do with transferring domains
Sure
I would find a way to move the domain to a dns provider that support root level cnames or use cloudflare's nameservers
as i has just said, you dont need to move the domain anywhere
just use cloudflare's nameservers and you are good
Alright
Would look into that now
