Distant horizons (1.20.4) doesn't show any effect.
I downloaded the 1.20.4 version yesterday but it's not working. But the settings for the mod are shown in the minecraft menue. I have the problem in Singleplayer and Multiplayer (it never worked). I play with Fabric and have about 85 mods installed (I removed all of them to see if it works but it didn`t). I play with shaders (MakeUp Ultra Fast or Bliss, I tried it when they were switched off and it didn't work.) Pls help

can you try flying up a hunderd or so blocks, turn up cpu load in DH settings and wait for a few minutes to confirm nothing is loading?
if that doesnt work. can you try without optifine/optifabric?
Thank's for the fast answer. Flying up and changing the settings didn't do anything. But the tip with the optifine worked!! Thank you. But how can I play it with optifine/ optifabric on? It should work with it shouldnt it?
it should. but optifine is notorious for being incompatible with a lot of mods. you can try switching to embeddium and oculus if you really want shaders, because i dont think optifine is easily fixable

here is a list of shaders that are DH supported. i dont think any of them are particularly lightweight though
