Are LOD chunks supposed to be showing up this slowly?
For some reason, the chunks seem to be rendering incredibly slow, like, slower than I would have ever expected them to. I'm pretty sure this isn't an issue with my system, as I have a pretty good GPU and CPU

turn up cpu load and disable shaders to make it go faster
does it not take less time to generate chunks with less detail in them? because I've seen with another older lod mod, it took significantly less time to generate chunks with only a few details in them, so much so that it was possible to generate the entire minecraft world in a pretty quick amount of time
is that just not how this mod works

all detail levels take the same amount of time
the mod youre referencing is likely farplanetwo
which uses a rough (low quality) terrain generator.
DH uses vanilla world gen, and vanilla world gen does not have a rough terrain generator
