Modlist?
/logs
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
this?
it's the file named latest.log
here
are you sure you selected fabric as your modloader?
your log doesn't mention any mods
well i used curse forge to run everything do i have to do it from minecraft files itself?
you need to send the latest.log from your instance's .minecraft/logs folder
that it?
yup. i'll have a look
alright
try deleting your lods and letting them regenerate
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
just going off this it seems like a broken db
ok ill see what happens then ill let you know
try restarting the game as well
DH might prevent deleting the sqlite while the game is running
oh okay
tho i tried that like 5 times💀
have you tried deleting the sqlite before
nope
i cant delete the sqlite while running the game
you need to close the game before trying to delete it
yea still doesnt work i deleted the sqilt then launched the game
what's your render distance at?
256
what about vanilla rd
16 atm
lower the vanilla distance to 2 and check if lods are rendering at all
might be a case of slowgen
/slowgen
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)ðŸ˜
should i try to restart the game after i put the rd to 2?
what does that mean💀
i use bliss
okay so it works without the shaders now but i used the bliss which is recommended so idk man
do it without shaders first to make sure DH works
when you've got it working make sure you're using bliss from the iris discord
im not in the iris discord
wait give me a min
i cant find the shader link
you might need to get the tester role
oh
got it
lets go
its working
nice
tysm man
np
srry for the trouble💀
how do i mark this as solved?
nvm got it
