@majo24
works now, thank you so much you're a legend
appreciate it fr
how do I play with my shaders though, they turned off? @majo24
What shader are you using?
complementary
i dont see the shaders menu tho
You don't have iris installed
Modrinth
Iris 1.7.0 for Minecraft 1.20.1 - Iris Shaders
Download Iris Shaders 1.7.0+1.20.1 on Modrinth. Supports 1.20.1 Fabric & Quilt. Published on Apr 23, 2024. 493176 downloads.
that's weird it was installed before
must've deleted it by accident
will rethinking voxels work?
seems like my complementory shaders dont work
with DH
What version are you using?
an older verison lol
im getting so many stutters ever since i downlaoded this
Only newest has DH compat
cpu keeps spiking to 100%
freezing every 3 seconds
How much ram did you allocate
And what did you set the cpu impact to in the DH settings
You also could try this https://github.com/brucethemoose/Minecraft-Performance-Flags-Benchmarks/
Tried it today, helped me a lot with stutters
i have 32gb ram
do i have to allocate seperate ram?
cpu is minimal
Yes, by default minecraft only can access 2 GB, which isn't very much. To increase RAM:
Open Minecraft Launcher -> Click On Installations -> hover over your installation and click the three dots -> Click on Edit -> Click on More Options -> In JVM-Arguments change the -Xmx2G part to change the allocated GB
For example, with 8 GB, it would look like this: -Xmx8G
ah thank you
what should i set it to?
Also don't allocate too much RAM, else it will slow down. About 8GB should be good
ah thought so ty
another problem @majo24 😂
Update Fabric Loader
I would recommend using a launcher tho instead of using default mc launcher
fixed it
what one?
I recommend Prism Launcher or Modrinth App. I personally use Modrinth App because of the nice UI, but prism launcher can also download mods from curseforge, which Modrinth Launcher can't
I'm trying to compile Distant Horizons to run on Minecraft 1.21, but I'm getting:
* What went wrong: A problem occurred configuring project ':fabric'. Failed to setup Minecraft, java.lang.IllegalStateException: Minecraft 1.21 requires Java 21 but Gradle is using 19The issue seems to be that Fabric won't update its Gradle even though I made sure the project had. I don't know how to update Fabric in the project. Anyone know where I could go do some reading?
Why are you compiling DH?
#links-n-downloads
I... never knew that I could do that?
Did I skip something in the FAQ?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Lol, no problem
