elastic on the ankles?
realised a lot of boots have like a panel of stretchy elastic around the ankles but now i m wondering if thats not just for ease of entrance to the shoe from a lack of zipper?
like does it have anything to do with comfortability of walking in em or is it really just for ease of foot entrance?
aside from that any shoe tips are appreciated whether it be shopping or wearing or sending em to a cobbler to get things done

They're called Chelsea boots or dealer boots. Yes the elastic is just to slip them on without laces or zip
i see, is toe lift important? googled its important for walking apparently to have a lifted tip but does it really effect it that much?
It can be comfortable but I’ve never noticed a huge difference between flat shoes and those with toe spring
i seeee
so very just aesthetic purposed then
