UI stutters when visible

Basically any UI, such as the inventory or pause menu, causes my FPS to tank until I unpause the game. I have tried disabling mods but the only thing that seems to fix it is disabling shaders all together. Performance is fantastic during regular gameplay, just not when a UI menu is opened

Oddly enough, if I have the F3 menu open, then pause my game and look through the menus, it seems perfect. No lag at all. Turn the F3 menu back off, it becomes laggy again. Just did it like 5 times in a row

I have tested it without other mods and I have given 3 other people my entire mods folder and they actively play with it without issue. I've tried completly wiping out my .minecraft directory and reinstalling from scratch. The only time I experience the issue is with shaders enabled. I've tried 3 different shaders and no luck

I've been able to sort of fix it in the past by limiting my framerate to under 100, but that seemed like a temporary fix as it eventually started doing it again.

do you mean stuttering or do you mean screen tearing and ddi you have any outdated drivers?

I have only seen this really with people that have distant horizons as well
