Why does my loadout keep crashing?

Here is the first line of the error: [12:21:02] [main/ERROR]: Minecraft has crashed! net.fabricmc.loader.impl.FormattedException: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraft/class_3443 has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 65.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 61.0

You're on modrinth app right? Inside your instance, go to Options, enable Override global java installation, click on Auto Detect and then select some 21 version

Try using java 21 Some mod was probably compiled with java 21, causing errors when using these mods with earlier java versions

deleted old java, downloaded java 21 and restarted, still crashing

You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft

Your welcome Also, seems like you're using iris. Shaders aren't support in 1.20.2, shaders are only supported in 1.20.1, 1.20.4 and 1.20.6. And if you're gonna use shaders in one of these versions, make sure the have DH 2.0.4 from https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/882038774861819954 (or just wait till tomorow, when a stable version releases), Iris 1.7 and a compatible shader
