Can't hear val sounds.
Anyone knows how to fix a problem with my sound in Valorant? I can hear voicechat loud and clear, but everything else is "muted", like gunshots, footsteps, etc. It's not a prob with my pc because i hear yt and stuff normally.

This sounds like an in-game audio settings issue. Try the following steps:
1. Check In-Game Audio Settings:
- Go to
2. Audio Device Configuration: - Ensure your default audio device in Windows matches what is selected in VALORANT. - In
Settings
> Audio
> Voice & General
.
- Make sure the Master Volume
, Effects Volume
, and Agent Flavor Volume
sliders are turned up.
2. Audio Device Configuration: - Ensure your default audio device in Windows matches what is selected in VALORANT. - In
Settings
> Audio
> Voice & General
, check if the correct device is set for Output Device
.
3. Windows Sound Settings:
- Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar.
- Select Open Sound settings
.
- Ensure the correct output device is set as your default.
- Scroll down and check the Advanced sound options
for VALORANT. Make sure it’s set to the right output device and volume is not muted.
4. Sound Drivers:
- Update your sound drivers through Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers
.
If the issue persists, a reinstall of the game may help as a last resort.
