How do I make Vanguard show up in my system tray so i can exit it when I’m not playing?
I would prefer that I don’t have a driver level anti-cheat looking over me as I use my PC when I’m not playing Valorant so yea

Vanguard doesn’t natively support an option to exit it easily from the system tray as it is designed to run continuously to prevent any cheats from being loaded before the game starts. If you want to disable Vanguard when you're not playing VALORANT, you'll need to stop the services manually. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
- Press
Windows Key + X
and select Command Prompt (Admin)
or Windows Terminal (Admin)
.
2. Stop the Vanguard services:
- Type sc stop vgc
and press Enter.
- Type sc stop vgk
and press Enter.
To start Vanguard again, you'll need to restart your computer. Keep in mind that disabling Vanguard may leave your system less secure when re-enabled, and you’ll need it running to play VALORANT.
