CF for SaaS IP Address for root domain

Some registrars don’t allow CNAME on root domains. They only allow A records pointing to an IP.

Is it possible we get the IP address thru an API now?

You can get the IP through public dns resolution of yourfallback.domain.com.cdn.cloudflare.net, technically you can get that through an api using DNS over HTTPS if you really want to If you can't guarantee the IP will be kept up to date then you won't be able to reliably use that strategy and would have to purchase Static IPs on an Enterprise plan
