Content types supported?
Hi, our organization recently signed up for a trial account. Our engineers are looking into the workflow capabilities. I am on the Marketing team and was curious what the content management system allows for. I only saw text based templates with a CTA button option. In documentation, it states product teams can 'They can use their preferred notification content editors.' Is it possible to have a more 'designed' look and feel with graphics, gifs, videos, and buttons? I see a lot of text based examples but not anything with media. Can you use the explort html Hubspot option to create a notification with more design components that a marketing team writes? Thank you.

Novu indeed supports a range of content types for notifications, allowing for a highly customized and engaging user experience. While the primary examples showcased in documentation often emphasize text-based templates, Novu's flexible architecture supports the inclusion of various media types.
You can incorporate graphics, buttons, and even customize the HTML/CSS directly to create a more designed look and feel in your notifications. Novu's system allows for the usage of rich HTML in email notifications, where you can include images, styled text, and buttons. This is facilitated through the regular and custom code editors available in Novu's content creation tools (1) .
For instance, here is an example of how you might define an email template using HTML to include a styled button and an image:
Regarding using an external HTML content editor like HubSpot, you can indeed create your notification templates there and then import the HTML into Novu. Novu's system is designed to be flexible with external content, allowing you to use templates created outside of Novu as long as they are in a compatible format (e.g., HTML for emails).
Novu's approach to notification design is to empower marketing teams like yours to create engaging, visually appealing notifications without needing constant intervention from the development team, aligning with the documentation's indication that teams can use their preferred notification content editors.
For more detailed guidance on integrating custom designs and using external editors, you might want to explore the specific sections about Content Creation in Novu's documentation.
Hey @GoWave , if you use the code first approach, you can create the basic design in HubSpot, and use them as template, you can also allow other team members to override section. Would that be beneficial?
