Which outfit I mean
For weddings and maybe some events/interviews honestly I dont think Ill be meeting CEOs in my 20s
If you were to get only one suit, plain navy or charcoal would be better. IMO, brown check jacket would be too casual for interview, and strip suits may be too heavy for casual events.
I doubt a tech interviewer would scoff at a brown check jacket for being too formal, more likely they would scoff that you were wearing a jacket at all
That said you probably shouldn’t wear white pants to a wedding anyways it’s just a weird move most of the time
Neither. I wouldn't buy a striped suit until I had several plainer ones, which probably means never because I don't need that many suits. Outfit on the left doesn't really do it for me. Shirt and pants aren't very versatile, although the jacket is OK.
I have an all black and a dark grey already
The dark grey is more of a blazer/jacket ish
I was looking for something that makes u look nice yk
Or suits complexion and hair
Theres this as well
This is roughly my skin tone and physique, black hair
And this double breasted one
Weddings formal parties etc. are main use case, maybe interviews but most are online now so idk if thatll be a thing, maybe meetings or conferences?
Also what exact shoes go with it ?
Dark navy single breasted suit in a fabric like a hopsack with dark brown or black leather shoes
This?
Yes, although the fit of that suit looks pretty bad tbh
I dont understand 😭
Is this a better fit or worse
Hard to tell. Don't worry about it too much. The navy suit pic is the right basic idea. It just doesn't fit the guy very well, IMO.
Here is an example of a suit that fits well: https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1135916565183856660/1248053199156416523
also worth noting suit fit is something specific to each person
there's general things to avoid (too long or too short, too tight or too loose, any of which can impede movement) but it's mostly your build and your preferences
if the black suit or gray suit fit well, go to that same retailer and buy a navy one
if you're not sure if it fits, take a picture of it and post it (maybe make a separate thread in #questions-and-advice ) like so:
