Why do I have so many options for my Headset / Mic?

But none of them seem to work together. If I pick whatever for Output, either it doesn't work or it disable Input from working. And same for vice-versa. Some of them even completely disables the Game's sounds. It's been fine automatically selecting whatever is working so I never had to deal with it but today and on some random days it just completely doesn't work and is a jumbled mess. IDK what to do. All the choices are so confusing and don't make sense to me. Basically, I just want to hear my teammates and be able to talk to them without either one disabling the other.

It looks like you have multiple input/output options for your headset and other audio devices, which can be confusing. To stabilize your audio settings, try the following steps: 1. Set Default Devices in Windows: 1. Right-click on the sound icon in your taskbar and select Open Sound settings. 2. Scroll down to Related Settings and click on Sound Control Panel. 3. In the Playback tab, right-click on your preferred headset option (e.g., Headphones (G735 Gaming Headset Stereo)) and select Set as Default Device. 4. In the Recording tab, right-click on your preferred microphone option (e.g., Microphone (G735 Gaming Headset)) and select Set as Default Device. 2. Adjusting in VALORANT: 1. Open VALORANT and go to Settings -> Audio -> Voice Chat. 2. Set the Output Device to align with your default playback device (e.g., Speakers (Logitech G735 Gaming Headset)). 3. Set the Input Device to your default recording device (e.g., Microphone (Logitech G735 Gaming Headset)). 3. Check for Conflicts: - Ensure your headset software (e.g., Logitech G Hub) isn't causing conflicts. Try disabling any enhancements or features that might alter audio routing. By standardizing these settings, you should experience more consistent audio performance in VALORANT.
