B&G Performance Plugin
Hi @HansT. I've been messing around with your plugins and trying to get them to work. (Lately too much time spent doing actual sailing though...) Last week when racing I noticed that my B&G countdown race timer didn't work. It ticked down one second and then stopped. I tried all the B&G settings and wondered if I might have caused it by using other than the default 5 min count down, but no results there. Not only until I ran my B&G plotters/triton without signalK did I get a working countdown. Investigating further, I realized it was the performance plugin causing the problem. From there on, I haven't investigated further. Any ideas?

Interesting. What is the B&G hardware you have on your network? And where did you controlled the countdown timer from?
The performance plugin emulates a H5000 on the network. I could be that the B&G MFD will assume the countdown timer is managed from the H5000.
I don't have access to my Zeus now, but you could check if the timer source can be configured (this display/H5000)
Ow, the performance plugin can do the H5000 emulation. From the config:
'Enabled B&G H5000 device emulation to enable Laylines screen on Triton2 (only on canbus)'
try turning that off if it's on
(the laylines part isn't working well yet, btw)
Went to the boat to check it out but the signalk server seems to have crashed on me... (new thread started)
