K key not working on new choc Lily
Putting together my new choc lily, flashed the same firmware from my MX lily, put on some switches to test and found that the k position doesn't work. Tried swapping switches, tried putting copper tape on the switch pins to see if contact was the issue. Still no go.

Sorry to hear that the K key isn't working on your new Choc Lily.
Since you've already tried swapping switches and checking for contact issues, let's dive deeper into the troubleshooting process.
Here are a few things to check:
1. Check the solder joints: Ensure that the pins on the nice!nano are soldered properly and not bridged to any other pins. You can refer to the Adafruit Soldering Guide for guidance on making good joints.
2. Check for shorts: Use a multimeter in continuity mode to check if there are any shorts between the pin for the K key and any other pins or nearby traces. Make sure the keyboard is powered off when doing this.
3. Check the diode: Verify that the diode for the K key is in the correct direction, soldered down properly, and not cracked.
If you've checked all of these and the issue persists, feel free to provide more details, and I'll do my best to help you troubleshoot the issue.
To my naked eye, the solder and the connector seems fine but I'm no expert
if you manually use tweezers to trigger the key does it work?
confirm it works on a working key first then try to get K with it
No, I tried activating it from the bottom with tweezers while it's on, no go
Other slots work, just the qwerty k position one doesn't
I've tried the same switches I tried on other positions and they worked fine
I'm not in front of it right now, I'll do a few more tests when I get home later
could you try from top of diode to right side of hotswap?
Will try and report back
just tested again, it's apparently the whole column, not just the k
oh?
can you check out the pin associated with that then
Sorry which pin are you referring to?
