Entreprise SSO
Is it possible for enterprise applications used by our users to redirect them to Kinde for authentication?
For example, let's take Google Workspace as the enterprise application. When the user enters their email, Google Workspace redirects them to Kinde. Kinde authenticates the user and then redirects them back to Google Workspace.
Can Kinde implement such authentication flows?

Kinde can certainly help with this.
Specifically, Kinde supports custom SAML configurations, which can be used to integrate with enterprise applications like Google Workspace. This allows users to be redirected to Kinde for authentication and then back to the enterprise application once authenticated.

@Andre @ Kinde According to the documentation, it's the opposite. A button is added to the sign-in UI, redirecting the user to Google for authentication and then back to Kinde.
am i missing something ?
Hi @ab2rahman,
Do you want to use Kinde as an identity provider?
Do you want an experience like the following, e.g. user lands on your platform and enters [email protected], they are redirected to Kinde for enterprise connection with Kinde, once authenticated with Kinde, they are redirected back to your platform and logged-in?
Hi @Oli - Kinde , I would like to use Kinde as an IdP not only for the platform I am developing but also for other enterprise applications that support IdP customization, such as Google Workspace.
Hi @ab2rahman,
I am still a little confused as to what desired experience you are after?
Are you able to explain whether you want to use Kinde as a SP (service provider) or IdP (identity provider)? Or both?
@Oli - Kinde both
Hey @ab2rahman,
At the moment we only allow Kinde as the service provider.
I have noted down your request to use Kinde as an identity provider.
Is there anything else I can do for you in the meantime?
No, thank you.
