1024 not showing further?

On 1.20.4, installed via Iris installer. My MC rendering distance is at 32 and my DH rendering distance is at 1024. Do I need to fly around to generate the chunks? Or is something wrong with my file?

it's gonna take a long time to generate a radius of 1024 expect to wait upwards of a full day
