Playing a modpack, and this was my first crash after adding DH
ik its not really recommended, still wanted to try it out. It's probably something to do with complimentary, which im going to scour this discord to find a more compatible shader.

Fixed everything by changing to Farsight, and using blissful shaders... One day there will be a backport watch

also comp doesn't work unless it's the patreon version

the free version of comp would disable lod rendering entirely from a lack of compatiblity

i haven't tried forge personally but from what i've seen it looks like it works decently
might have better luck with photon shaders
Only version I'm seeing for photon is 1.20.4
compatible with optifine/iris
you need to download it from the iris dh shader testing channel. i believe shaders are mc version agnostic
although only 1.20.1 1.20.4 and 1.20.6 currently support shaders so unless there's a more recent version of the modpack you're using, you're out of luck

dh by itself might work
it has problems with some packs but from my experience it usually works
fixed with changing to bliss and changing to nightly, but it seems my RD is alot shorter? idk if its fog or something, gotta figure this out now

it won't work cuz oculus for older versions doesn't have dh compat
so you won't see lods

bobby will work fine but won't run well at higher distances
