Weird DH chunkloading glitch
Usually, this happens after 5 mins of gameplay. DH works as usual, everything is saved with LoD stuff, but after a while, it just goes back to the base render distance on ONLY SOME PARTS so some chunks are LoD, and it unloads other stuff. looks kinda weird. I have no clue as to why it happens. I will post a video later tonight when i have more time. OBS is being a pain in the ass right now.
Specs just in case:
windows 11
Intel I9 12900K
Nvidia RTX3080 founders
ROG maximus Z690 formula (yes the recalled one)
Trident Z5 6k mhz ddr5 @ 32gb

so when i close the game and go on discord, then go back, everything looks realy nice, when i move slightly to the right, and everything looks broken again. AUGHH

Probably. could you elaborate how that effects it?
I just want to know more about the mod
CPU Load settings may help improve the speed which DH generate lods. However, it is best to tune the load setting manually via Advanced settings -> Threading instead.
There, you can specify how to distribute DH work to the CPU on which aspect you wish to give priority.
if you have a config that prevents the chunk holes from happening then I beg you please share it so that people stop having this issue and wasting the time of everyone who tries to help

Assuming it's not the result of upgraded lods, those should be filled in with DH 2.0.4-a-dev.
I don't know, I set my render distance to 312 and after a while LODs refused to load any farther than 256

General setting for both world gen and lod gen.
oh, I think increasing cpu usage will make the chunks load better idk

Yeah sometimes it works properly, and sometimes, it breaks. When it breaks, not necessarily everything does.
Some parts of the word is saved and displayed as LoD but some chunks around me just function like vanilla chunks

Best bang for the buck AMD processor right there.
Plus, its iGPU is more powerful than Intel's, although it may not be able to get you play Minecraft with shaders, but at least it's worthwhile to have.
