why might this be going on?
I have many mods installed so that could be the reason for this but its starting to get really annoying and laggy

Use chunky mod
It's likely because chunks haven't been properly loaded yet
Also try messing with the cpu impact setting

No, chunky is a chunk pregenerator mod.
You need to install chunky on the server if you want it to work
i did on my server
dont think it fixed it when i generated
nvm it plainly just doesnt gen dh lods
You need the server side fork
