I'm pretty sure LODs totally break Immersive Portals
I dont know if seeing 500+ chunks through a portal in the nether where you can also see 500+ chunks is healthy for your pc
first of all it's not unplayable second of all it's not good for your pc ☕
The devs of Immersive Portals haven't contacted us for a comprehensive solution so, we aren't obligated to do anything in that regard.

generating 500 chunks on the overworld + nether in the same time is never good -_-

Immersive Portals doesn't work that way.
Conveniently.
Unless it allows chunks to be loaded by the world generator, all it does is simply create a projection of the existing chunks near the nether portal.
Assuming that's how it works of course. Would be stupid if chunks on both dimensions are loaded via conventional way.
