its just becuase you're in a party with nobody
itll show as muted becuase you're party chat will not show as on if theres nobody in your party to chat with
But when I play with someone, I can't speak or hear my teammates
know that party or team voice are connected through riot client
dont close ur riot client
if u did close it
let it run bg
also eveytime this happens, check ur volume mixer by right clicking sound icon on windows taskbar
if riot client is there then u should hear ppl talk
if its not there, try relaunching riot client and re-enable ur playback device
