Hello, @genes3s! If a clan leader does not log into the game for 30 days, an active clan member can apply to become an acting leader. If a co-leader does not log into the game for 30 days, management privileges will be transferred to another player.
Acting leader is someone who acts as a leader (but does not own the clan). If the previous leader becomes active again, that leader will replace the acting leader....

So no actual way of getting the leadership back

what's the step by step process of applying? im not seeing a button anywhere in the mobile app
