Installed A browser via DistroBox and it installed but the app doesnt allow audio
Hey guys, I installed Thorium browser on bazzite through distrobox. installation went fine but now when I goto youtube, there is no audio. Anyone know how I could fix this?

Okay so I got it working by using Almalinux9 instead of 8!

My guess is that the audio needs a proprietary driver and it isn't installed with the browser. What container did you use for distrobox? Ubuntu, Debian, Arch or Fedora?

Honestly I've never heard of almalinux lol
do you think I should uninstall and try a differnt distro
Looks like it uses dnf like Fedora. They have instructions for installing the codecs here https://wiki.almalinux.org/series/system/SystemSeriesA05.html give that a try and see if you get audio in videos. You might need to close and open the browser after completing the install
