are you on the nightly?
known issue if so
yep, pretty sure
which mc version?
this one for indium
1.20.6
will have to wait for a fix
every nightly either failed to compile or crashes when opening settings
ohh, gotcha
anything I can do in the meantime?
if you're able to go back to 1.20.4 yes
or any other supported version
not for what Im testing, but all is okay
guessing a week or so for the fix?
i'm guessing later today when james is off work but i'm only speculating
it was a recent bad commit that broke it
ohh, that's all good then :)
thank you very much
5 seconds, might have a quick second issue
btw, is there a "good" amount of ram allocation for distant horizons/possibly vivecraft (if theyre compatible)
I only have 32gb ddr5
just playing the game you could get away with 4gb
but with worldgen you should have +256mb per worldgen thread as a rough guideline
so for an 8 core at the "i paid for the whole cpu" preset you'd want 8gb for example
thank you, 12gb should be about right thne
then*
one final thing if that's okay
thank you so much for your time
should be fine but at 12 you could have tiny stutters
depends on the cpu
15 12600k
shouldn't be an issue then
not the strongest
do ask
perfect, thank you
If Im a server owner
Is distant horizons singleplayer only atm?
yeah
there's #Server side fork tho
if you want to try it read the pinned message in that thread
perfect, thank you so much, you've been a great help :)
Have a great day
no problem
you too 🙂
oddly IM having the issue with distant horizons/indium removed..
Any ideas?
Apologies if this is no longer a DH issue
What happens if you remove lambddynamiclights?
yep, works without it I think
nice!
thank you :)
anything I can do about the dynamic lights?
probably not
got it, cheers :)
