Can you tell me what is it that I am doing wrong? It is stuck on 14/15 for the past three days.

You have not logged in 15 days continuously. If you miss a day, you have to try all over again.

Have you tried reinstalling the game again? Also have you logged in other devices, recently?
I didn’t reinstall the game but it occasionally logs me out, @Tina. And then I needed to enter the code in my email to access the game. The most recent auto-logout was after the update. I noticed it is stuck at 14 before the update.
I tried to log into the game using my tablet about a week ago. But the countdown still continued when I logged in with my phone.
The reason why the system is not counting the days is probably because you did switch from your tablet to your phone.
Perhaps you can try to contact the customer service for further assistance.
I switched, but I made an oopsie trying to log in with my iPad just one time. But the thing is, the number still counted until it stopped at the 14th. I won't contact customer service and will try again in the future when I get time.
