DH crashing in-game once you 'Disable LOD Rendering'
On the latest nightly build. Everything runs great, until someone tries to turn off rendering. It then causes a crash for DH. Minecraft still runs fine, unless you try to restart DH, which will result in the lovely smear.

can you test if this happens without shaders as well?
can do. Lemme grab log.
19100 lines 💀
based on this, there could be an incompatible structure mod
it is impossible for me to search for the error that it gives when rendering is toggled to disabled
the file is just too long
are the c2me config changes still necessary
i have no idea
that could be it as well

Tweaking C2Me config yielded no results, same error. Testing without shaders next.
It's a shader issue. Turning off shaders removes the problem entirely. Gunna go pester Xonk.
Oh, it's not Bliss-specific. Any relevant shader (Bliss, BSL, Shrimple) will cause the same error.
Posting what I believe is the relevant text.
Best to report this to the Iris devs
Can do
Can anyone else replicate this?
i aint adding all those mods manually
Oh gosh no xD I meant with a clean build.
yeah, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me xD
I would never have noticed it if it wasn't for a friend turning it off to 'see if it improved fps' (hint, it doesnt, DH is gettingg really optimized these days)
unfortunately a lot of fps is lost with the generation and updating of chunks and the GC etc., which still continues when rendering is off. so even though he didnt notice a fps difference, DH most certainly has a pretty big impact
I barely notice a performance hit. I take a much bigger hit from shaders, honestly
Posting a clean log here as well as the Iris server. Can duplicate with BSL, Bliss and Shrimple shaders.
I've got Iris Lead looking into it, will report here if a solution is found to close the ticket for others.
