WSK switch with LED
i have this setup, and it works, sort of..
trying to understand the logic of the path in server
Not sure if my thinking assumption is wrong?
.. when touching any of the 4 buttons in wsk, it correctly sends msg to the Put handler .. which in turn takes some (http post) actions - all good.
however the value in the “environment.WLED.status ” path never changes .. always stays = “off” (from when its initialised in nodered)
Q: have i setup the path/meta correctly?
Q; should the value in the server path get updated from each button push?
at present, after touching one of the buttons (eg warm) .. wsk shows it lit up, then after short period goes back to having a green color for the off button (corresponding (presumably) to the fact that the value in the path never changes from “off”)
im guessing my “meta” setup is incorrect (albeit it sort of works)

Your put handler should be sending out a delta to update the path
ah. duh . thx, it now seems obvious …
Q: the color that wsk displays under the led/switch .. at present black or green .. is this configurable? meta?
