Looking to start in IoT
I'm aware how Iot works, but I really want to undersand it, from scratch the basis, where should I start? (I cannot pay for any courses)

You can start with esp8266. You can interface sensors to ESP8266 and send data over internet to cloud like thinkspeak. You can learn it from YouTube.
@aguila_27, here is a good place. Check out the #getting-started-chat and join events like Engineering Hour and Office Hours. There are a lot of pro IoT devs in the server who are happy to help out.
Can you also tell me some achievements which I can aim for while learning iot!.
