How the secondary verification works?
Hi, wanna ask about Secondary Verification and Email Verification in the Login Protection Settings in game.
I never been used them. How they work?
If i enable it, will it ask for verification code when anyone try to log in to my account?
So in this case i already linked my account to the twitter, email, and mobile number.
But it's most likely my twitter has been hacked, so i think i need to prevent the hacker use the twitter to log in to my pubg account.
I still dont know what the best way to do.
But for now, would the secondary verification protect me?

If your Twitter account has been compromised, we recommend you to contact Twitter support for further assistance to recover your account. Alternatively, you may also unlink Twitter from your game account if you have another linked login method.
If this does not stop the person who compromised your account to access to your game account, please contact the in-game customer service for further assistance in this regard....

Hello, @donkeedonkee ! If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please make sure to change your password for the social media accounts that are linked to your PUBG MOBILE account. It is also recommended to link a phone number to your PUBG MOBILE account and enable secondary verification. You may also be able to track the login activity of a an unrecognized device through your Account settings of the game. At the same time, you can use the Log Out option and choose the option to log out of all devices.
If the issue remains unresolved, please contact the in-game customer service for further assistance. We hope you'll find this information helpful. Please stay safe and enjoy your time in PUBG MOBILE!
hi, thanks for the response.
thats the problem, i found my self failed to change my social media password, as the account has been taken by unknown person.
and yes, i already linked my email and phone number to my pubg mobile. plus now, i already enabled the secondary verification and email verification.
so my main question is,
if that person try to log in to my pubg account using my social media (which linked to my pubg mobile), would the mobile number linked (with secondary verification enabled) enough to prevent them to log in?
Thanks in advance.
you can check the login method in settings when you are in lobby .
along with the date and time and device
mobile link would not prevent them from logging in as they have one of your login info
checked.
i didnt see any login trial from other device or method so far.
but ya, im still worry.
ah okey, this is what i want to know, i need to be careful about this
but one more question please.
in the trusted device i only see my current device which listed.
So, as mentioned they have one of my login info. BUT in this case, even their device is not listed as trusted device in my pubg mobile account, they still be able to login if they want to, is that true?
they can login as long as they have your logins. As i said you can see the person’s device details in settings.
okay get it
and anw is it possible to unlink the social media if i only have 1 account linked?
or i have to make it 2 account linked and then unlink one of them?
which social media platform fo you want to unlink?
i only have 1 social media platform linked, its a twitter
you can unlink it.
You will have to login from your email or phone number for the required number of days for the unlink.
