Using chunky but just getting generations that look like this
Not sure what the problem is, all the settings are default. I'm generating at 500, 1000, 1500, going to different spots...
Not sure what to do here

if you're using chunky, turn off distant generation in the dh config
and chunky radius' measured in blocks while dh's measured in chunks, try to match lod distance and chunky radius distance
ohhh they're starting to fill in now
alr
so I just multiply a chunk (like 128 or 512) and do 2048, or 8192?
ok they're back hmmm
if you already turned off distant generation, then it's probably with how chunky generation chunks
i suppose wait a bit or a restart would fix that
alrighty, should I up the cpu to balanced?
if you only pregen, you can go aggressive+
done pregen and you can put it in low impact/minimal
still just kinda chilling there, is there a way to delete the data like "Distant_Horizons_server_data"? but its just client side, haven't done this on the server yet
have you try restart?
other than that

Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
Yeah I restarted multiple times
ohhh ok
it said one block best I could do
other than suggestions above, idk about chunky/dh interacting together
can only say that it worksTM
yeah np
trying to up it to see if it changes anything, but it's kind of working but it just stops at some point
this is off
thats on
it is using 36gb of ram tho that's crazy
I turned distant generation back on, just going to leave it over night
you dont have to crank quality preset
put it in medium should be enough
only change it after done generating
other than that, i got no idea other than cpu load to balanced ig
yeah it's just utilizing 25% of gpu at extreme
unless it also affects cpu?
when loading/unloading lods, quality preset has some influence on that (higher quality requires more cpu to switch lod quality while moving, etc.)
in generation it shouldn't, but couldnt hurt to try
also just stumbled upon this
so I don't even need chunky I can just increase lod distance?
chunky's only required if you want to gen real chunk as well
if not, dh generator can gen lod independently
