Is there a recommended way to do regular postgres backups?

I tried to run pg_dump in my cron job but it says pg_dump: not found
Solution:
I would recommend you deploy this template into your existing project with the database and to pair it with Cloudflare R2 https://railway.app/template/I4zGrH...

thanks, r2 instead of s3? I've not used templates much, can I edit it or its just a read only thing?

cloudflare R2 is an S3 compatible service. for your usecase you wouldn't really need to edit anything, simply fill out the variables it asks for and it will backup your database to cloudflare r2 on a schedule
