Favorite Lookbooks - Topic of the day 5/9/24
It could be how the clothing is styled or the environment in which they're styled in, but what lookbooks stuck with you and why?

The latest BB because they are so terrible.
And also because I'm new enough that y'all had to explain to me WHY they are so bad
Kind of Guise consistently has the best vibes with their lookbooks. Only issue is that sometimes the garms come second so you sometimes don't get an idea of what they look like, but big fan overall https://akindofguise.com/collections/
Recent Story MFG one is also very cute https://www.storymfg.com/blogs/essays/story-mfg-ss24-yours-truly

Story mfg. SS24 : Yours Truly
Story mfg. is a brand built around our niche enthusiasms (Katy and Saeed) and those of the people we work with who keep alive practices that would otherwise die out without their dedication. Hobbies can be outlets, help with mental health, and bring lifelong friends together. There's no pressure on them to create money
nanamica SS22 cuz I have the physical book and it’s really nice
Yo this is great
Directed by akio hasegawa from popeye
I love Wythe as a brand and their lookbooks are usually quite good, but this is my favorite: https://wythenewyork.com/blogs/lookbooks/fall-winter-21-lookbook
oh yeah 100%, vibes are great
I feel like Wythe A/W lookbooks have the vibe of the ranch you want to retire to and SS has the vibes of the summer camp you wish you’d gone to
ALD obviously, everything except for like last seasons lookbooks are consistently good. I'll be the meme.
In the same vein as wythe, RRL lookbooks are cool
Not currently cool or on trend but I’ve always had a soft spot for Left Field NYCs SS14 Lookbook. I like how it was shot out at Coney Island. I like lookbooks out at a location.
ALD normally has really good lookbooks
This is true
Got my first supreme tee in 2008 as a sophomore in highschool - when I got a job freshman year of college I finally had money to enjoy Supreme's cut and sew pieces
Fall/Winter 2011 is my favorite season considering the nostalgia factor but also because it was Brendon Babanzein's (Founder of NOAH) final collection as creative director for Supreme

I really really love the Uniqlo look books because of the promise of accessibility that they have.
