increase your RAM allocation in the JVM arguments
I recommend 6 GB
how do i do that
launcher -> installations tab -> three dots -> edit -> more options -> JVM arguments
change the 2G at the beginning to 6G
its at 32
it's not
i have changed before
but idk why its at 32
oh nvm
:this:
so 16?
6*
ye
ok 8
i use 8 becuase i have quite a few mods that change visuals but you dont need that much
what does it change?
animations, sounds, some 3d weapons, first person and more
i meant the jvm
sick tho
it tells the game to use more ram
is like launch options from steam
doesnt load
nvm
springed back to life
how many chunks should i set to
what are ur pc specs, you should try to get like a sweet spot
16 gb ram 5 5600 amd 3060 ti
I use 88chunks for gameplay and 256chunks for screenshot mode keep in mind it runs like a slide show
i play 1k
when i set it to 256
slideshow
damn
yeah 200 mods with dh and shaders 🗿
so did u fix it
does it run better now ?
nope
gpu at 100 constantly
is your fps set at unlimited ?
Yup
domt
cap it so you have spare power when getting those 1% lows
60
whats ur monitor refresh rate ?
360
what
?
360 refresh rate ?
yea
damn bro
do you know what setting i should change with dh to get more fps
no, sorry I use the default settings for dh the only thing i change is the render distance
i think for that kind of refresh rate you need a better gpu to run mc with dh+shaders
im saving up
4090? 🤨
Nah the latest rx
radeons gpu ?
they do slightly worst with some shaders
poor cpu
fuck off
?
Lmao that’s not what they meant
You’re not gonna get much fps at 4k with a 3060ti with iris + DH
