Steam Deck Users
I have a question that's just related to preference really. I have a steam deck would anyone who has a steam deck prefer using bazzite on it? I'm thinking about doing it, but not sure if there's much of a difference? What can we do with bazzite that might be different from steam os?

I have been using Bazzite on my Deck since last August. up-to-date packages and kernels is a big difference from SteamOS
package layering is an option as well
printing with CUPS if you use it as a desktop replacement
Is it a difference in terms of performance?
it can if something comes in the newer kernels that contribute to performance
As of the latest BIOS updates both the LCD and OLED decks have AMD pstate support
That means better battery life
For me, the ujust commands are super helpful to get stuff setup that would take a bit of work on steamos! Also i may be stupid but steamos installs use an A & B system to help revert back from a bad update etc. I swear i updated my sudo password once and it never updated the other partition, which just made it confusing for me knowing what my password was.
Thanks. Does bazzite update steam deck bios?
Yes
awesome! I might wipe steamOS then
but how to activate it?
Default enabled
oh, uncorrect question. what about steam os?
because i couldn't find any info about it. nowhere
