mic issues

I have S22 Ultra and Galaxy Buds earbuds. I cannot get pubg mobile to use the earbud mic instead of the phones built in mic. The built in mics are on the top/bottom of phone and are easily covered by my hands when playing. Even when playing via a pair of samsung wired earphones, the phones external mics are used. Any tips that i can try to get it to switch to headphones mic?

Earbuds are connected via bluetooth. Mics are still routed to phone instead of earbuds.
