Fit for leather jackets

I'm considering buying this jacket in brown: https://www.soulrevolver.com/mens-leather-jackets/mens-vintage-style-leather-jackets/hybrid2020 I like the style and folks seem to rate Soul Revolver but concern over fit is keeping me from pulling the trigger... I'm a little under 5'10 and 35" chest - they told me I'd need a Small for length but it would be on the loose side. Would that be a big deal with a leather jacket?

It looks like this jacket is cut on the slimmer side so that might mean that the fit is ok. You can email customer support for garment measurements and compare those to a jacket that fits you well (they might not be able to provide the measurements but it doesn't hurt to ask).
