DH rendering incorrect blocks

was playing on my discord friends' server and noticed this no idea why this is happening

It looks like that’s on the edge of your vanilla render distance so when you walk further away it switches to the LODs Not sure about the white line through the purple. Might be causes by a low vertical LOD resolution

If you look at the flag the blocks slightly change and a white line appears on the purple part when the walk backwards I wouldn’t really call it DH rendering the wrong blocks tho

Does that flag sits right at the edge of the vanilla render distance? If so, then what you're seeing is the point where the blocks are rendered in between vanilla chunks to Distant Horizons lod. Obviously, since the two uses different rendering methods, the visible graphical change is drastic. There's not much that can be done for the time being. It could possibly be improved in the future, but that's a plan for a later date.

Upon closer inspection, that might have been the effects of subsurface scattering (SSS) on that block. Makes a lot of sense since SSS only affects real blocks, not lods. So, assuming you hid away lod by disabling its rendering, the SSS will be seen to affect up to that part of the block.
