Do we do sale monitors anymore?
That was one of my favorite parts of old MFA, and someone posting their American Trench sock haul made me remember how genuinely useful I found that. Is there a channel I'm missing for sales???

You're thinking of frugalmalefashion and it's still going on Reddit afaik.
They also have their own discord. I always mean to follow it casually, but admittedly don't (ironically it'd feel like I was trying to buy things more than I already am)

PTO ebay roundup I've not really found to be super worth
Just sign up for newsletters from the brands you like/stuff you're searching for and use stuff like saved ebay searches
yeah but i want someone to vet the ad copy for me so i know when a deal is good
When something you would have brought (or at least considered) at full price is discounted.
Generally buying things because it's a "good deal" isn't a great idea IMO..
There's constantly good deals on stuff I wouldn't wear or wouldn't work with the rest of my wardrobe.
i've used the ebay roundup to see brands i was unaware of and to get a feel for the price range, moreso than actually purchasing
i'm on the noob end of the scale of commenters here though
