Post romantic
Anyone has any kind of experience with them? I stumbled over them and really like that they do proper button down collars (i.e. ones that roll). I also feel like some of their stuff fits my aesthetic quite well.
If you ordered from them in the past, did you give them your body-measures or did you select a size preset and altered some things in the preset to better fit your build? I am thinking about ordering from them and am torn about which of the two routes to go. Giving them your full measurements obviously gives you most likely a better fit, but the amount of individual measurements leaves much room for error. Taking a preset size and altering the specs of the garment to conform with already existing shirts that you like will propably result in a less customized fit, but has the advantage of greater control over how tight or loose the shirt fits.
Do you have any experience with them and if yes how did it go?

Im a huge huge fan of post-romantic, I've bought about 8 shirts now from them!
I went with the size presets for the more casual shirts, like popovers, and gave exact measurements for dress shirts.
Both went incredibly well, and am super super happy with the shirts. Moeen is also incredibly friendly and receptive! I'll very likely be ordering more in the future, venturing into some of their pant selections
I think i will start with one of their button downs in chambray. Im usually not a button down kinda person but I really dig the roll of their collars.

I will, though I first need to decide whether i just want to replicate the fit of one of my shirts or get someone competent to take my measurements (to me button downs that you tuck in feel more formal-ish)
Which shirts do you have so far?
Also, I got it from Moeen that they are currently working on a pattern for western shirts (I asked bc Derek Guy mentioned ordering some from them but I could not find the option in their storefront)

yeah their storefront isnt the most updated, so coordinating directly with moeen via email is best
ive got 4 of the formal shirts in poplin, 3 popovers, 2 silk shirts, the zottolo shirt, and one simple shirt
holy shit i have a lot more shirts from them than i realized lol
How is the zottolo shirt?

Great, bc im def looking at that as well. How open are they to custom fabric options, for example asking them to make the Zottolo shirt in the dusty pink silk used in some of their women shirts?

Gotta ask my alterations tailor if she would be willing to take my measurements today. I figured MTM is only as good as the measurements provided..
definitely get your measurements taken, especially if going for more formal shirts
